As every year the "gastronomic review on goat meat", comes back. To launch the event in the best possible way there will be a special evening with "cicitt" (the famous goat sausage of the region, which is also registered as "slow-food" since several years). Saying no will not stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make them less relevant or more repetitive.

Use Food to Improve Your Mood

A lot of us have been trained to think that comfort foods are bad and must be avoided. Often, if your comfort food is made of candy or other junk foods, this is true. Otherwise, comfort foods could be really nourishing and good for you. Several foods really do elevate your mood when you eat them. If you are feeling a little bit down and in need of an emotional pick me up, try several of these.

Eggs, you may be surprised to learn, are great at fighting depression. You need to see to it, however, that what you make includes the yolk. The yolk is the most essential part of the egg in terms of helping raise your mood. Eggs, the yolks especially, are rich in B vitamins. B vitamins can truly help you boost your mood. This is because these vitamins improve the function of your brain’s neural transmitters (the parts of the brain that dictate how you feel). Try eating a few eggs to feel better!

Make a trail mix from seeds and/or nuts. Your mood can be elevated by consuming peanuts, almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, etcetera. This is possible as these foods have a bunch of magnesium which raises your production of serotonin. Serotonin is a feel-good chemical substance that directs the brain how to feel at any given time. The more serotonin you have, the more pleasant you will feel. Nuts, along with improving your mood, can be a superb source of protein.

If you would like to battle depression, try consuming some cold water fish. Cold water fish such as tuna, trout and wild salmon are high in DHA and omega-3 fatty acids. These are two substances that boost the quality and function of the grey matter in your brain. It’s true: consuming a tuna fish sandwich can actually help you fight depression.

Some grains are really wonderful for driving away bad moods. Millet, quinoa, barley, etc are great at helping you feel better. These grains fill you up better and that can help elevate your moods as well. Feeling starved can actually bring you down! These grains can improve your mood because it’s not at all hard for your body to digest them. You digest them faster than other things which can help boost your blood sugar levels, which, in turn, helps make you feel more pleasant, mood wise.

Green tea is wonderful for moods. You were sure it had to be included in this article, right? Green tea is high in a specific amino acid referred to as L-theanine. Studies have shown that this amino acid basically induces brain waves. This helps improve your mental energy while simultaneously calming your body. You probably already knew how easy it is to be healthy when you consume green tea. And now you are aware that green tea can help you be happier too!

Now you realize that junk food isn’t necessarily what you should eat when you are wanting to help your moods get better. Try some of these tips instead.
