Steps to make Pulao recipe in pressure cooker:
  1. Take a pressure cooker. Add 02 tbsp oil.
  2. Add hing and jeera once oil is hot.
  3. Let jeera crackle and add onion and fry till light brown colour.
  4. Add tomatoes,potatoes,carrots.
  5. Saute for 1min. Add tofu.
  6. Add green chillies and coriander leaves.
  7. Add salt,chilli powder,haldi.
  8. Mix everything well and add rice.
  9. Add 1&1/2 Glass water and pressure cook for 01 whistle.
  10. Pulao is ready to serve.

Basmati rice, regular white rice, brown rice can be used in this recipe. Just refer to the package instructions for water quantity and cooking time. Put the pressure cooker on medium heat and add the ghee or oil. Add all the dry whole spices, cumin/jeera, cloves, bay leaf, star anise for a minute. Now add the thinly sliced onions and saute them till light pink in color.
