Hey everyone, it is Drew, welcome to my recipe site. Today, I will show you a way to make a distinctive dish, anmitsu. It is one of my favorites. For mine, I’m gonna make it a bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Anmitsu is one of the most popular of recent trending foods in the world. It is appreciated by millions daily. It is simple, it is fast, it tastes yummy. Anmitsu is something which I have loved my whole life. They are nice and they look fantastic.

Anmitsu (あんみつ, rarely 餡蜜) is a Japanese dessert that dates to the Meiji era. It is made of small cubes of agar jelly, a white translucent jelly made from red algae. The agar is dissolved with water (or fruit juice such as apple juice) to make the jelly. Anmitsu is a classic Japanese dessert that is often enjoyed in the warmer months of spring and summer.

To begin with this recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook anmitsu using 11 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Anmitsu:
  1. Get 4 g (=2tsp) KANTEN (agar agar)powder
  2. Prepare 500 ml water
  3. Prepare 1 tbsp sugar
  4. Get 1/2 tsp Matcha powder and 1/2 tsp hot water
  5. Prepare 4 tbsp SHIRATAMAKO(glutinous rice flour)
  6. Make ready 3 tbsp water
  7. Prepare 4 tbsp canned AZUKI (red bean paste)
  8. Prepare 4 scoop ice cream (vanilla or matcha )
  9. Make ready Canned mandarin orange
  10. Make ready Canned Cherry
  11. Make ready KUROMITSU (Black sugar syrup)

Now pour the liquid in a flat container and cool to firm. Mix water, sugar, and lemmon juice to make syrup. Anmitsu is a traditional Japanese recipe that is loved by people all over the world. This dessert recipe is a delightful combination of soft jelly with refreshing fruits, topped up with sugar syrup.

Instructions to make Anmitsu:
  1. Place KANTEN powder and water in a saucepan. Whisk and Cook over medium heat, Whisk constantly, Bring to a boil. Add sugar, cook on low heat and whisk about 1 minute. Remove from heat.Pour the half of mixture into square baking dish or jelly mold. Stir together matcha powder and hot water in a small cup until it dissolved. Add MATCHA mixture into remaining KANTEN mixture and whisk together. Pour it into square baking dish/jelly mold. Let cool and Chill in Refrigerate.
  2. Make Shiratama next. In a bowl, put in SHIRATAMAKO, and add water gradually until the dough turns as soft as your earlobe.Make 8 small ball with your hands.Press the center of the ball gently with your finger. (Helps to make the center of dumpling cook evenly and easier.) Put dumplings in the boiling water and boil them till they float. Remove the dumpling and cool them in cold water with ice. When it's cooled, drain the dumplings.
  3. Cut the KANTEN jelly into small cubes. Arrange in bowls with Shiratama, fruits, AZUKI, and Ice cream. Drizzle with the KUROMITSU if you have.
  4. If you don't put ice cream, it's just 'ANMITSU' which is a Vegetarian or Vegan friendly recipe. If you add ice cream, we call it 'Cream ANMITSU' in Japanese.

This is because these foods are loaded with magnesium, which helps to boost serotonin levels. Serotonin is a feel-good chemical substance that tells the brain how to feel at any given point in time. The more serotonin you have, the better you will feel. Not just that but nuts, specifically, are a fantastic protein source.

Cold water fish are excellent if you would like to be in a better mood. Cold water fish such as tuna, trout and wild salmon are chock full of DHA and omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids and DHA are two things that truly help the grey matter in your brain work a lot better. It’s true: eating a tuna fish sandwich can greatly elevate your mood.

Some grains are truly wonderful for fighting off bad moods. Millet, quinoa, barley, etc are great at helping you be happier. They help you feel full as well which can truly help to make your mood better. It’s not difficult to feel low when you are starving! These grains can elevate your mood as it’s not at all hard for your body to digest them. They are easier to digest than other foods which helps bring up your blood sugar levels and that, in turn, improves your mood.

Your mood could actually be helped by green tea. You were just expecting to read that in this article, weren’t you? Green tea is high in a particular amino acid called L-theanine. Studies have shown that this amino acid basically induces brain waves. This will improve your brain’s concentration while simultaneously loosening up the rest of your body. You already knew that green tea helps you be healthier. Now you know that green tea can elevate your mood too!

So you see, you don’t need to consume all that junk food when you are wanting to feel better! Test out these suggestions instead!
