  4. Prepare 2 tbsp Condensed milk
  5. Get 35 grams Sugar
  6. Get 100 ml Water

Bring the sesame-nut water to a boil, then reduce to medium heat. Instead of the whipped cream, you can also top with black sesame paste, kinako, roasted soybean flour and kuromitsu, Japanese black sugar syrup. If the sesame paste isn't available, you can toast sesame seeds and then thoroughly grind them to use in this recipe. Add milk and tahini, stir to combine and bring to the boil.

Instructions to make Kanten and Ground Sesame Pudding:
  1. Blend the ground sesame and 100 ml of soy milk in a food processor.
  2. Combine the kanten and water in a pot. When it starts to boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 2~3 minutes while stirring.
  3. Add the mixture from Step 1 and the remaining soy milk into the mixture from Step 2. Add the sugar and condensed milk and mix together.
  4. When everything has dissolved and mixed together, remove from the heat, transfer to cups, and chill into the refrigerator once cooled.

If the sesame paste isn't available, you can toast sesame seeds and then thoroughly grind them to use in this recipe. Add milk and tahini, stir to combine and bring to the boil. Grains can be good for driving away a terrible mood. Quinoa, barley, teff, millet, etc are all wonderful for helping you feel better. They fill you up better and that can help elevate your moods too. Feeling starved can be terrible! The reason these grains can improve your mood is that they are not difficult for your stomach to digest. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps promote a rise in your blood sugar which in turn takes your mood to a happier place.

Green tea is fantastic for moods. You knew it had to be in here somewhere, right? Green tea has been found to be chock-full of an amino acid called L-theanine. Research has proven that this amino acid stimulates the production of brain waves. This helps raise your mental sharpness while having a relaxing effect on the rest of your body. You already knew green tea could help you become healthier. Now you know that applies to your mood as well!
