  1. Get 100 grams Fresh okara

  3. Make ready 200 grams Plain yogurt
  4. Make ready 50 grams Skim milk
  5. Get 30 grams Maple syrup (or honey)
  6. Get 4 grams Powdered kanten

Steps to make Okara, Kanten, Apple and Yogurt:
  1. Preheat the oven to 180℃. Cut the apple into 8 equal pieces, remove the stem, and cut the pieces into smaller pieces. Line the cake mold with parchment paper.
  2. Add the apple pieces and plain yogurt to a food processor. Turn it on and mix.
  3. Add the skim milk and kanten, and mix until combined.
  4. Put the fresh okara into a bowl. Add the mixture from the food processor to the bowl. Mix with a rubber spatula.
  5. Add the maple syrup (or honey). Mix well.
  6. Pour the batter into the mold. Bake in a 180℃ oven for around 30 minutes.
  7. When done baking, let it cool in the mold. When it has cooled off, leave it in the mold and put it in the fridge to chill.
  8. When it's completely chilled, remove from the mold.
  9. Cut into slices of any size you like.

Serotonin is the “feel good” chemical substance that dictates to your brain how you feel day in and day out. The more serotonin in your brain, the more pleasant you’ll feel. Not just that, nuts, in particular, are a terrific source of protein.

Cold water fish are good if you want to feel happier. Salmon, herring, tuna fish, mackerel, trout, etcetera, they’re all chock-full of omega-3s and DHA. These are two things that promote the quality and the function of your brain’s grey matter. It’s true: consuming a tuna fish sandwich can actually help you fight depression.

It’s easy to overcome your bad mood when you consume grains. Teff, barley, millet, quinoa, etc are all excellent for helping you be in a happier state of mind. They help you feel full too which can truly help to make your mood better. Feeling famished can be a real downer! The reason these grains are so good for your mood is that they are not difficult to digest. They are easier to digest than other foods which helps kick up your blood sugar levels and that, in turn, improves your mood.

Your mood could really be helped by green tea. You were simply waiting to read that here, weren’t you? Green tea has been found to be packed full of an amino acid known as L-theanine. Research has proven that this amino acid promotes the production of brain waves. This helps raise your mental acuity while calming the rest of your body. You probably already knew how easy it is to become healthy when you consume green tea. Now you are aware that it helps you to lift your moods too!

As you can see, you don’t need junk food or foods that are bad for you to feel better! Try several of these instead!
