Sirloin Steak is one of the most popular of current trending meals in the world. It is simple, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. It’s appreciated by millions daily. Sirloin Steak is something that I have loved my entire life. They’re nice and they look wonderful.

To get started with this particular recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook sirloin steak using 3 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Sirloin Steak:
  1. Prepare 2.5 lbs beef top sirloin steak
  2. Take As needed, seasoned meat tenderizer and pepper
  3. Prepare As needed, a little olive oil and a dap of butter
Instructions to make Sirloin Steak:
  1. Before I cook my steak, I beat the crap out of it with a meat tenderizing tool. I highly recommend getting one of these if you don’t have one.
  2. When it’s time to cook your steak, heat a large cast iron skillet on med/high heat. Add the oil and butter and allow to melt. Lay the steak in the skillet and set the bacon press or another skillet on top of the steak.
  3. Cook for a good 5 to 6 minutes without moving it. Flip the steak and repeat with the press or the weight.
  4. After another 5 or 6 minutes take the skillet off the heat. Take off the weight and transfer to a platter. Allow to sit for several minutes to rest. We like ours medium rare. If you’ve never tried it, have some raw horseradish with that steak. It’s a match made in heaven.

How to Elevate Your Mood with Food

For the most part, people have been trained to think that “comfort” foods are terrible for the body and must be avoided. However, if your comfort food is candy or junk food this can be true. Other times, however, comfort foods can be totally nutritious and it’s good for you to eat them. There are some foods that, when you consume them, could boost your mood. When you feel a little down and are needing an emotional pick-me-up, try a couple of these.

Eggs, believe it or not, are great for helping you combat depression. Just make sure that you don’t throw away the egg yolk. When you would like to cheer yourself up, the yolk is the most essential part of the egg. Eggs, the egg yolks especially, are loaded with B vitamins. B vitamins can be terrific for boosting your mood. This is because they help in improving the function of your neural transmitters, the parts of your brain that affect your mood. Try consuming a couple of eggs to jolly up!

Build a trail mix out of seeds and/or nuts. Almonds, cashews, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, etc are all helpful for elevating your mood. This is because seeds and nuts have a lot of magnesium which raises your brain’s serotonin levels. Serotonin is known as the “feel good” chemical substance and it tells your brain how you should be feeling all the time. The higher your levels of serotonin, the more pleasant you are going to feel. Not only that, nuts, particularly, are a great source of protein.

Cold water fish are excellent if you would like to feel happier. Cold water fish such as tuna, trout and wild salmon are rich in DHA and omega-3 fats. These are two substances that boost the quality and function of the grey matter in your brain. It’s the truth: eating tuna fish sandwiches can really help you fight your depression.

It’s easy to fight your bad mood when you are eating grains. Barley, millet, quinoa, etc are excellent at helping you be happier. They help you feel full too which can truly help to improve your mood. It’s easy to feel low when you are starving! The reason these grains are so great for your mood is that they are not hard for your body to digest and process. They are easier to digest than other foods which helps bring up your blood sugar levels and that, in turn, improves your mood.

Green tea is truly good for your mood. You knew green tea had to be included in this article, right? Green tea is rich in an amino acid referred to as L-theanine. Research has found that this amino acid induces the production of brain waves. This helps raise your mental focus while having a relaxing effect on the rest of your body. You were already aware that green tea could help you be so much healthier. Now you know that green tea can improve your mood also!

As you can see, you don’t need to eat all that junk food when you wish to feel better! Go with these tips instead!
